So it requiresthe event organizers and related institutions or individuals to actively promote the majorsporting events archives’ collection, management and utilization. Major sporting eventsin the archives service is in the background of the times topic, its goal is to promote themajor sports events archives collection, collection construction, services, information todeliver etc, in order to improve the major sports events information resources utilization,and satisfy the people’s increasing needs of major sports event information. So Ilook up through the Soochow university library, Chinese journal full-text database,Google books, and major sporting events literatures about archival service, and at thesame time I have been to many universities in Jiangsu and Zhejiang provinces，SportBureau of Zhejiang Province for some experts’ opinions about archival science. Byknowing the current situation of the archival service for major sporting events, andanalyzing the problems of major sporting events archives service encountered in theprocess of its development, this article put forward some strategies for major sportingevents, including constructing the objective basis of archival services, and servicestrategy of interactions between providers and users, and building service model basedon major sporting events archival service, etc. All these strategies combined themultiple elements and processes in using archive information resources of majorsporting events, in order to realize the value of major sporting events archiveinformation resources to its fullest.By analyzing the current situation of major sporting events archival service,especially the analysis of this interdependence subjects of service providers and users,we can see the big trend of archival service in the future--the user group and user’sdemand will continue to change, the way of providing service will also be innovated.Combining with the problems of major sporting events archival service and servicestrategy, this article offers some suggestion: constructing an archives service objectivebasis that can adapt to the passage of time and the quick steps of new technology,equipment and new ideas; making the information retrieval, knowledge managementand media effect theory as the guide; building precise model according to the majorsporting events archives service model.
