Study On The Impact Of Major Sports Events On Urban Development

This paper mainly uses the methods of data,on-the-spot investigation,questionnaire survey and data statistics to analyze the impact of Z's preparation for the 14 th Provincial Games on urban development from two aspects of positive and negative benefits.It also probes into the existing problems affecting the development of Z's cities,and puts forward corresponding strategies in order to make Z City develop.Experience can be used for reference,and the holding of the Provincial Games can achieve better development.The research shows that the preparation of Z City Provincial Games will have the following five positive effects: driving the economic development of Z City,promoting the upgrading and transformation of Z's infrastructure,enhancing the charm of Z's city image,promoting the development of Z's public security and promoting the dissemination and development of Z's local culture;at the same time,the preparation of Z City Provincial Games also has increased urban traffic pressure.Negative effects such as strength,aggravating economic and financial burden,low reuse rate of venues in the later period,and potential public safety hazards.To this end,other host cities should fully understand and grasp the multiple influencing factors of sports event selection,combine with the law of urban development and their own advantages,so that they can maximize the development of host cities,and strive to avoid and overcome the possible negative effects of sports events;under the guidance of the basic principles of sports event selection,improve the level of sports event research and formulate sports events scientifically.Relevant programs,the level and quality of sports events held.
