College Teachers are apt to Job Burnout which can impact the working content, working effect, and physical and psychological health, and further more the schooling. The study on Job Burnout of teachers can provide reference for the prevention and elimination of Job Burnout in colleges and universities. Job Burnout of College Teachers refers to the state of "emotional exhaustion","deindividualization","low personal accomplishment", and "Intelligence exhaustion" caused by the failure to effectively reply the requirements or pressure in education teaching works of teachers. The symptoms of Job Burnout are characterized by physical symptoms, psychology—sentiments symptoms, intelligence—behavior symptoms, and society—organization symptoms; and the Job Burnout of teachers is harmful to the physical and psychological health, influences the stabilization and constitution of teaching body, and is destructive to the scientific research of teaching. Theories of Job Burnout include the dimensionality, evolution or development phases, attributions, generation and coping strategies of Job Burnout, and theories related to the teachers’ development stages. The score of overall Job Burnout of College Teachers is2.462, and the scores of the four dimensions are:"emotional exhaustion" as2.563,"deindividualization" as2.374,"low personal accomplishment"2.412, and "intelligence exhaustion" as2.385, which means the Job Burnout is of mild style, instead of moderate and severe style and the degree of emotional exhaustion is relatively high, then in succession as low personal accomplishment, intelligence exhaustion, and deindividualization. Due to different genders, marriage, education background, teaching ages, title, and school types and so on, there are differences in the Job Burnout. The principal reasons of Job Burnout lie in teachers themselves, school and the society, among which reasons in teachers themselves include imperfection of professional knowledge and professional competence, personality defect, weak will for teaching, and low initiative of professional development, school reasons include heavy overload, big pressure from assessment and evaluation, unreasonable constitution of teaching body and shortage of training for teachers, particularity of education objects, insufficient caring and psychological support, and society reasons include the negative effects of market economy, pressure from multiple roles and high anticipant, and challenges from educational reform. Efforts shall be targeted to teachers themselves, school and the society to eliminate the Job Burnout. To mitigate the Job Burnout, teachers shall perfect their professional knowledge and competence, improve personality, strengthen the will for teaching, and enhance the initiative of professional development; in order to drive teachers rest their Job Burnout, the schools shall lighten the workload, perfect the system of assessment, strengthen teacher training, and intensify democratic management and psychological caring and support; in order to drive teachers rest their Job Burnout, the society shall show respect to teachers and attach great importance to education, lighten the roles burden, put forward reasonable expectation, and conduct education reform in a right way.
