The nursery rhyme,a shining pearl of ancient Chinese traditionalculture treasure, hold an important position. With thousands of years ofhistorical development, its living content and colloquial language havebeen growing in company from generations to generations. Themajority of educators have gradually reached a consensus that it has apositive on the development of childrens language, moral emotion,behavior habit, and mental training. But for a long time, nursery rhymescan only be heard in early childhood, rather than become anintegrated kindergarten teaching activity. That is, it has never enteredthe kindergartens’ classrooms, and become a part of teachingactivities.This thesis, by making a profound analysis of nursery rhyme teachingfrom the perspectives of teachers and textbooks, attempts to acquaintmyself with current status and the crux of nursery rhyme teaching and toput forward the strategies accordingly so as to promote the nurseryrhymes teaching.This thesis consists of three parts:The first part is mainly about an overview of nursery rhymes. Itprimarily addresses the evolution of the history of the nursery rhymes interms of its concept, and characteristics, classification, the evolutionand significance of the teaching meaning of the nursery rhyme, whichcombined to provide the theoretical basis for the research.The second part, also the highlight of the thesis, primarily presentsmy analysis and findings of the current nursery rhyme teaching inFengxian region from the perspectives of teachers and textbook basedon real first-hand information and data. From the aspect of view of thetextbooks, on the whole, we can conclude that the number isinsufficient and the quality not high enough, which obviously demonstrates a hinder to the nursery rhyme teaching to a large extent.Therefore, the quantity and quality of nursery rhymes textbooks need tobe improved. From the aspect of teachers, the teaching methods differgreatly in view of their different understanding of the educationalfunction of the nursery rhyme and there also exists the low utilization rateof the choice of textbooks. Thus, improving the professionalism ofteachers of the nursery rhyme, the use of appropriate teachingmethods, and the adoption of efficient teaching evaluation focusingon the nursery rhyme become particularly significant.In the third part, teaching strategies about the nursery rhyme. Onthe basis of the problems reflected by my analysis, I proposed someefficient and feasible teaching strategies such as games, interactivestrategy, the scenario reproduction strategy, media support strategy,competitive race strategy, which I think can strengthen our nurseryrhyme teaching.
