Academy And Local Society In Qing Dynasty

Based on regional historical data,the author takes Industrial Management of Ehu Academy in Qing Dynasty for study,from the perspective of the Social and Cultural History, and observes the Academy changes in the industry process to explore the interaction between the Academy and local community. Except the introduction and conclusion,the whole paper consists of4chapters, about80,ooo words.The second chapter examines the environment and development of Ehu Academy. Ehu academy in Jiangxi’s Northeast,it had derived from the history of SIXIAN worship and sacrifice,called " EHU DEBATE".The Sixian shrine temple developed WenZong Academy, Ehu Academy. During the Ming and Qing Dynasties, Academy calendar’s rise and fall, always with the literati and the local authorities are closely related.It is important to the local cultural and educational institutions.The third chapter examines Ehu Academy’s large-scale industrial recovery activities in the Qianlong period. Industrial recovery provided academy’s funds source,to maintain its economic interests, which made Ehu Academy had become increasingly prominent in economic advantages.The fourth chapter examines Ehu Academy had carried out large-scale industry clear nucleus and expansion process in the circumstans of its industry further loss during the Jiaqing perriod.
