The term of psychological contract was introduced in management field in the early1960s, it means that there are implicit, informal and unpublished understanding and mutual expectations in the mutual relationship between employees and the organization except the content from the formal economic contract. As for the defination of psychological contract of university teachers, Luan Wanna from our country defines it as a kind of subjective psychological agreement from university teachers’ feeling:what the university teachers should do for the school and what the university should return to the teachers. It includes two aspects:the hope from the teachers to the university’s responsibility and the hope from the university to the teachers.There are six parts in this thesis. First is exordium. It introduces the background, investigating Significance, investigating methods and investigating contents briefly. Second is the analysis of the basic concept. It not only tells the definition of psychological contract and psychological contract of university teachers, but also explains the differences between psychological contract and Legal contract, organizational commitment, organizational citizenship behavior, employee expectations. Third is the summary of psychological contract of university teacher from five aspects:1) The contents and dimensions of psychological contract.2) The forming process of psychological contract.3) The investigation on psychological contract of teacher.4) The investigation on the construction of the university teachers’ psychological contract.5) The evaluation of the former research. Fourth is the concrete contents of the investigation on the psychological contract of public university teachers. This research adopt the method which unite theory with practice, take Zhejiang Normal University as the example, and choose the teachers who works in scientific researches or teaching with any administrative post as the object of study. We distributed182questionnaires,and got back180which included4invalid ones and176valid ones, so the valia questionnares occupied96.7%. we use SPSS16.0to analyse the data after the gathering of it. We also did the interview and gave the analysis of the result. Fifth part is the concrete measures to construct the psychological contract of university teachers from the analysis of this research. There are five aspects from the school side:1) Be clear about the dynamic discipline of psychological contract, grasp the teacher’s psychological characters in different period.2) Absorb reasonable ideas, realise effective communication.3) Balance the teacher’s workload, emphasize the teaching development.4) Do the scientific managing professional development, take the teacher’s professional development seriously.5) Provide various training chances, offer promoting space. There are three aspects from the teacher side:1) Make the career planning, be one heart of the school.2) behave with rigorous scholarship and innovation-minded.3) Improve self culture, maintain well colleague relationship. Sixth is the epilogue.
