With the advent of the 21st century, humanity has entered a new economic era dominated by knowledge. The competition for talents is becoming increasingly fiercer. Colleges and universities as communities of knowledge, the relationship between teachers and schools are not only maintained and depended on clear personnel contracts, but also on emotional connection. This obscure and implicit psychological factor becomes their inner drive for dedicating themselves to teaching and scientific researches, and to some extent, determines the vitality of the school in question. Psychological contract in colleges and universities is the psychological link between teachers and the school; it has an important influence on the teachers'behavior and attitude as well as their performance, job satisfaction, emotional involvement and turnover of teachers.Taking Jinling Institute of Technology as the research object and by investigation, the postgraduate dissertation concludes the challenges confronted by this kind of newly-founded undergraduate universities and colleges, namely, those universities deficient in existing hardware, scientific research level and welfare, are eager to attract more excellent teachers, while teachers have difficulties in changing their roles, thus psychological expectations between universities and teachers are contradictory; Also, the paper points out the importance of the establishment of a good operation mechanism for psychological contract in the management of teachers in universities, through the fair and incentive mechanism to improve teachers' psychological contract level can stimulate the work enthusiasm and high responsibility of young teachers who also get satisfaction in the work, and help to establish a stable organization of teachers in those newly founded undergraduate colleges and universities, ensuring the sustainable, harmonious and stable development and achieving a win-win situation for both universities and teachers. |
