The new junior high school biology curriculum pays attention tostudents development and social needs of the unified, more emphasison students learning initiative. Curriculum reform in the new situation, toadvocate the idea that cooperative learning has become a trend, as acooperative learning can improve their abilities of teaching methodsare gradually being used more teachers.The study of cooperative learning in the domestic and foreign aredeveloping rapidly, both in theory and in practice has formed certainresearch results. But whether foreign or domestic research has someproblems, such as: cooperative learning research methods, theoreticalresearch and empirical research out of line problem. On the basis of thetheory of cooperative learning, cooperative learning in the junior highschool biology teaching carried out to investigate the situation.Investigation discovery, there are many problems about biologyteaching cooperative learning in this area, such as: a lot of teachers incooperative learning understanding deviation, cooperative learningwill be equivalent to the group discussion learning, teachers find it isdifficult to transform education idea, teachers theoretical deficiency,leading to low rate of carrying out cooperative learning. Students, lackof cooperation consciousness and skills, passive learning ideasingrained problems. All these are restricting the cooperative learningeffectively, so teachers and researchers need to solve these problemsquickly. Based on the investigation result, a teaching experiment about thecooperative content and timing has did which as one of the factorsthat will influence the effectiveness of cooperative learning. The resultsshow that, in the junior high school biology teaching cooperativelearning is feasible, effective; and in the cooperation learning, thecorrect and reasonable learning content and timing, i.e. selectivecooperation study on the effectiveness of cooperative learning has aobvious effect, can improve students learning achievement, learninginterest, sense of cooperation and cooperation ability. And do somepreliminary research on the content selection and timing selection ofbiology in junior high school cooperative learning, it hopes to havesome guiding significance for the future teachers to carry outcooperative learning.
