Colleges’ curriculum examination quality analysis is an important work in thecolleges examination management, the analysis result is the important basis ofaccurate evaluation in examination work and teaching work. Paper is an importantcarrier of examination operation, through the application of education metrology,education statistics and other modern education technology of the test theory toanalyze the test paper. On the one hand, it can reflect the quality of examination paper,under and evaluate the situation of examination, in order to service the followingexamination modifications or screening, the establishment of the examinationquestions and the practice of standard examination.This article researches the curriculum examination quality mainly from thetheoretical and empirical study two aspects, the theoretical research mainly expoundsthe research significance and research present situation in the analysis of examinationquality, access to a number of literature, to definite the related concept, such as theexamination, the examination quality, the educational measurement, to introduce theClassical Test Theory and Item Response Theory; From the students’ examinationscores, paper introduces the statistical index that can statistic the students’ grades andrelated significance of examination quality evaluation, then simply introduces thenormal distribution, and then expound the four main measurement index: reliability,validity, difficulty and discrimination. The paper’s empirical study is based on theexample of quality management exam paper in2010-2011academic year in college ofbusiness administration in Shanxi University of Finance and Economics, using thestatistical results of conventional indicators and “four indexes” to have an empiricalresearch on quality of exam paper, in order to give the teacher a reference of operationlevel, and to provide teachers with a basic paper quality analysis model.
