A Study On The Talent Training Model Of Independent College

As a new school-running mode under the process of mass higher education in China,Independent college is a kind of institutions of higher education which implementsundergraduate education， with the non-national financial fund， organized by thecooperation between general high-level university above bachelor degree and the socialorganization or individuals except the state institutions. The main task and fundamentalmission of institutions of higher education is personnel training，whose quality is restrictedand limited by the talent training model. Currently，with the circumstance of intensemarket economy competition，that how to cultivate the talents with high quality and beappreciated by the market is a great challenge in front of independent colleges，in a mannerof speaking，the research on the talent training model of independent college has a greatsignificance for independent college’s survival and development.This paper adopts many methods to analyse such as papers analysis，comparativeanalysis and case analysis.On the basis of indicating the problems of independent college’talent training，the paper explores the successful experience of talent training in JiangSuprovince.It’ found that the Talent training model of Independent college in Jiangsu provincepresents three prominent characteristics through the case study and integral study. Firstly，it emphasizes specialty construction，which manifests in definite orientation of specialtyconstruction，the corresponding curriculum system and the hardware capacities forexperiment and practical training；Secondly，it emphasizes the faculty construction and“teaching-centered”，including the optimizing of faculty structure，the training of youngteachers and the guarantee of specialty running conditions；Lastly，for improving thequality guarantee system of talent training，Jiangsu province built external controlmechanism based on the government. Based on the research of Jiangsu province independent college，this paper putsforward the methods to improve Chinese independent college talent training. The paperelaborates the principles of structuring independent college’ talent training model withseveral significant parts，including talent training objective，positioning and developmentplanning，specialty and curriculum setting，faculty-building，teaching method and qualityguarantee system.
