The Research On The Development And Utilization Of PE Curriculum Content Resources Of NO.2Senior High School Of Hefeng County

The "Outline for Basic Education Curriculum Reform (Trial)" promulgated in July2001requires schools to develop school curriculum, considering the local social and economic development, school’s tradition and advantages, students’ interests and needs, while implementing national and local curriculum. Educational administrative departments at all levels should guide and supervise the implementation and development of the curriculum, and schools have authority and responsibility to report the problems arose in the implementation process of National and local curriculum.And the application of the "Outline" calls for the rational use and development of the physical education curriculum resources. The research chooses the PE curriculum of NO.2senior high school of Hefeng county in Hubei province as the object, attempts to find out the main problems and factors restricting the process of development and utilization by studying the status of this school’s PE curriculum content resources development and utilization, hope to make proper suggestions, countermeasures and a better promotion of school’s PE curriculum reform.The results show that:as a high school in the poverty-stricken ethnic minority areas, NO.2school in Hefeng does not go well in the development and utilization of PE curriculum content resources, for the limitations of factors such as schools’ leadership, PE teachers, sports hardware facilities, teaching evaluation system and so on. So there are still many problems to be solved in the process of development and utilization of the PE curriculum content resources. In order to better fulfill the physical education curriculum objectives, this study proposes practical measures and recommendations. Through this study, I hope to get some inspiration to better promote the school sports curriculum reform to achieve the goal of school sports programs.
