The Enlightenment Of Laos’Thought On University Moral Education

The inheriting and criticizing of the traditional moral is very important to the work of the moral education in modern university. The thought of Laozi have his unique in our history. And his education have three parts.This paper attempts to explore Laozi Moral Thought system, in order to achieve the transformation in the moral education resources in the contemporary and make some contribution to moral education in China.Review of history is helpful to understanding the Laozi though. First of all, the paper reproduces the social background through the historical analysis. And discusses the social factors and personal factors of formation "moral classic" education ideology. Then the article divided Laozi moral thought into three parts:physical and metal harmony of each person, the harmony of human relations、 the harmony among all things. Then the paper discusses the moral thought deeply through literature analysis. The most important thing is the application of the classical thought in modern time. In the last part of the article, by combining classical thought and contemporary philosophy, the educational theory and moral practice, explores the modern value of Laozi Thought. And it has a very significance for the university to improve the way of moral education and moral content.It is true that we must adhere to the dialectical vision and critical inheritance to our classic culture. The formation of Laozi moral thought has a special background, but also has the limitation of the times. Therefore, before using of this valuable cultural heritage, we should abandon the negative factors. We must be able to do reasonable use, so as to do some contribution to our contemporary moral and ethical practice.
