Research On Selection Institution For Primary And Secondary School Principals

The school principals are the highest magistrate in primary and secondary school.They are the most direct implementors of primary education policies, they are practicers and explorers in the forefront of primary education reform. They guide the direction of development of primary and secondary school. We can say that, their personal qualities and management level directly determine the development of primary education. China has established a series of selection and appointment systems for primary and secondary school principals.These systems have select and appoint many outstanding principals for the nation,which also played an active role in the development of China’s primary education. However, with the development of the times, the current school principal selection systems can not adapt to the requirements of the times, which have impacted the reform and development of China’s primary education.At first, this paper discusses the emergence, development and reform of china’s school principal selection system in times, the development and the reform of the paper, and analyzes the current situation of china’s school principal selection system. On this basis, taking ChongQing as an example, use the questionnaire and interview method to make a thorough inquiry to the primary and secondary school principals and teachers in a university training center, Trying to figure out the main problems of the current elective system of primary and secondary school principals, and think about the main measures to solve these problems.This article through the investigation and analysis found that the current school principal selection system mainly exists three problems:1. the qualification of selection can not meet the requirement of post; 2. the way of selection cannot meet the needs of the times; 3. the procedure of selection need to be regulated and improved. To perfect the school principal selection system, should to:perfect the qualification and standards of school principal selection; construct a method of school principal selection which appointment system play the main part; establish and perfect the procedure of school principal selection.
