The polarization phenomena of high school students’chemistry learning in grade on means the great differences that students outcome in the process of chemistry learning as well as the learning results under the same teaching and learning environment, it’s a kind of abnormal development of the students’ chemistry learning. And it not only affects the formation of students’chemistry knowledge, and also restricts the teaching process of chemistry teachers. In particular, this phenomenon is more severe in the rural high school. As the Grade goes up, students’grades in chemistry nearly evolved into a "skewed" distribution, making it impossible to achieve the national education goals:"All the students, all-round development" and also bring a negative impact on the normal development of teaching programs in schools. In order to meet the practical teaching□needs, to deal with the plight of chemistry teaching, and to find out the causes of the polarization of rural high school students’ chemistry learning, after the investigation and comparison with many high schools, the author select XX middle school of Guangxi as a representative to do the practical exploration, and finally pose this topic by combining the teaching practice with the school.The thesis analyses the different point of views on "polarization" from domestic and foreign experts, scholars and outstanding teachers, and summarizes the relevant results of the practical research. And it divides the causes of polarization of students’chemistry learning of the middle school into intern and extern causes, based on the theory of psychological attribution, Multiple Intelligences theory, and so on, making it the direction of the research, in order to collect relevant data.In addition to the author’s own teaching practice, the main research methods of this topic includes:literature, questionnaires, classroom behavior observation, interviews, etc. After analyzing the collected data and combining with the corresponding theoretical basis, the author obtain the following conclusions1.The polarization phenomenon of rural high school students’ chemistry learning in grade one is a kind of abnormal development of students’ chemistry learning, which restricts the chemistry teaching progress of chemistry teacher in rural areas, and has so negative impact on teaching affairs in schools that it is supposed to attract the attention of educators.2. The causes of polarization phenomenon of chemistry learning in grade one in the rural areas can be mainly divided into internal and external causes. Internal causes refer to the factors of the students themselves; external factors mainly include:teachers, school environment, family education, chemistry and so on.(1) The intern causes that affect the students’chemistry learning of the school mainly include:for most students, the basic knowledge of chemistry is poor, which reduces students’ interests and self-confidence in learning; students have little curiosity, so there is no good learning attitude, and they don’t work hard; students don’t have appropriate learning habits and scientific learning methods; gender discrimination and the differences in cognizing learning motivation; senior high school students’ physical and mental development is not synchronized.(2) Teacher factors:teachers’ sense of belonging to their own career and the sense of identity to the school is not high enough; their expectations to students are too low, while in the practical teaching, their demands are too high; the professional quality of some teachers is not well qualified, so their teaching methods and means are limited.(3) School environmental factors:the spirit of the school is inattentive, the former principals and leaders don’t have characteristic educational philosophy, loopholes in the management system, attaching importance to liberal arts but ignoring science, lacking of creativity, enthusiasm and personality, which make students and teachers get low sense of identity to the school, and parents trust the school little.(4) Family environmental factors:most students of the school are from rural areas, whose parents work outside, so more families are left behind. Aside from the traditional gender discrimination in general rural households and money worship, parents hold low expectations on their children’s study, lacking of confidence and concern for kids, adopting a causal attitude to school, and they completely give the task of education to the schools, so the "family" and "school" are short of communication.(5) Subjects and textbook factors:chemical knowledge in senior high school grade one is abstract, students have difficulties in constructing chemical knowledge systems; the connection of the textbooks between junior high school and senior high school is not enough, so some disadvantages exist in chemistry textbooks; teachers fail doing well in connecting the teaching methods at the connection between junior high school and senior high school, which makes students have a fear of hardship learning chemistry.Based on the above findings, the author thinks that the most important factors of the students learning chemistry polarization phenomenon are the school, teachers and parents factors. Among them, the transformation of the school and teacher’s education idea and method is the prevention or treatment of polarization" the fundamental way. According to the Middle School education present situation, we put forward the following countermeasures:(1) facing the truth that students are not outstanding enough, and students’ basis can’t be changed, should be realistic and try to change the traditional teaching concept and students concept, to implement "successful education", to individualize the students, to self-strengthen the cultivation of professional quality, and try to share and create with students, to make it good for both teaching and learning;(2)Guide students to establish the independent, the diversified development of the beliefs and goals, to form the scientific learning method and good learning habits;(3)for schools, they are supposed to construct a special learning environment, change educational philosophy, and strengthen school management, so as to form a strict school spirit, helping re-pick up the confidence of students, parents as well as staff in the school;(4)as for parents, they should try to learn to communicate and reshape the expectations on their children, also they should create a good family learning environment, to realize "students-parents-teachers "learning community construction.The author in the period of a semester of teaching practice, the attempt to use the countermeasure to undertake teaching practice, but because of time, energy,cannot be in short-term adduction to good effect. But fortunately, the president is committed to changing the current school the predicament of development, from the spring semester of2012, took a series of measures, so that teachers, students and parents depth of communication, mutual understanding, and jointly create a new hope.
