| With the same teaching environment, there are some big differences instudying chemistry, which is the un-normal phenomenon. That is called chemistrylearning polarization. These differences not only have the influence on the students’chemistry knowledge master, but also restrict the teaching chemistry process.Therefore, the author researches the phenomenon of studying chemistry.The author has found this phenomenon of studying chemistry happened in thedifferent period by talking with the some students and teachers in the processing ofthe student teaching on Mar,2013. To consider the different factors such asmanpower and material resources, the author has studied the reason and strategy ofthis phenomenon by the practice of student teaching in one year, which is selectingthe normal senior one of Da Feng High School in the Jiang Su province as theobject of studying.This thesis is based on the basic theory by analyzing the relational articles andconsulting the relational studying results and determine the thesis’ basic theory,according to the fact of teaching senior chemistry in Jiangsu province. The authoranalyze the students’ achievements of each chapter of studying chemistry in thesenior one and finding the period of the polarization, and then research it by thestudents’ interests, studying ways, the motivation of the study and the environmentof school and family and so on by completing the questionnaire for the2013thnewlystudents, and finally find the main development reason of the polarization as thebelow information:Firstly, the chemistry course has the little link between the senior and thejunior. It is embodied that the senior students will find that the chemistry is abstractthat maybe it increases the difficulty of the chemistry knowledge construction andreduces the students’s interests and confidence and then results in the low thirst of the knowledge and the unformal learning manner and the un-suitable learning way.Secondly, the school and the teachers have the low expectation and the highrequirements and the sole teaching way for students, who have the influence on thecollege entrance examination system.Thirdly, it is the family factor. The surveyed parents have paid little attentionto the students’learning and the study way who think that it is the responsible forthe school and the small influence on the attainment of the chemistry learning.Meantime, it is not attention enough to the students’ studying chemistry that havethe influence on the extracurricular remedial.According the survey results and the relational literatures, the author thinkthat the reason that results from the polarization of learning the chemistry for thesenior students is the student themselves, school and the parents. Among thesefactors, the education idea that the construction of the school and home shouldadjust to the students’ development is the way of preventing the chemistrypolarization. To consider the facts of the chemistry education, the author consultssome strategy as follow:In the first place,the school should do the connection of studying chemistrybetween the senior and the junior. It aims to do the psychological guidance that theparents and teachers do cooperation between the gap from the junior to the seniorso that it will increase the students’ interests of learning the chemistry. In theprocessing of learning, the teachers should offer some suitable suggestion for thestudying chemistry guidance and the division of the Arts and Science.In the second place, the teachers should deal with the polarization of teachingcontents properly. Meantime, the school should have some different suitabledealing strategy for the polarization teaching contents in the processing of learningchemistry for the senior one.Last but not least, the teachers should take measure for evaluating wayproperly by the effective teaching way of stratified teaching and the groupcooperation work.Totally, in accordance to implementation of preventing the chemistry learningpolarization and to compare the same levels of the Da Feng High School that one class is taking measure the prevention but the other is not, the author finallyanalyzes that there are some differences of the chemistry progress of each chapterand the learning condition and then find that the polarization phenomenon has beenreduced. |
