Recently, the individual personality and personality education has drawn great public attention. At the same time, several researchers and scholars begin to pay great more attention to the research of personality traits and personality education of middle school students. Personality as the sum total of all kinds of psychological characteristics, which influences a person’s thoughts, feelings and behaviors, make it distinguish among each other’s unique psychological quality, and its external behavior infer from within. The middle school stage plays an important role in developing individual life and personality cultivation. So healthy development personality not only affects youth own development, but it also even influences all aspects of the harmonious society. It is very significant to know the situation of personality development of current middle school students and its associated factors, which can guide middle school personality education promoting middle school students healthy development.Tibetan middle school students is special groups among Chinese adolescents, they have unique historical culture, national tradition, region ecological environment, religious beliefs and customs, etc. To kwon the forming of personality development of Tibetan adolescents will help us promote national understanding, strengthen national unity, and provide related psychology basis for personality education work of Tibetan adolescents. Domestic about personality characteristics of middle school and its related research have obtained many achievements, among these numerous studies, which are to choose some large and medium cities or the mainland Han Chinese middle school students as the research object, and rarely involve Tibet middle school students such a special group. This study adopts background variables self-made questionnaire and Gong Yaoxian(1985) questionnaire for EPQ children revised for Chinese, from personality characteristic as angle of view, uses cluster, hierarchy and sampling methods, extracts2241mainland Tibetan middle school students from Tibetan ghetto as the object of research to interview and survey. Tibet gathering area the following areas:Lasa, Naqu, Linzhi, Shannan, Xigaze, Changdu and Gannan of Gansu, Hainan of Qinghai, Aba of Sichuan. The research will discuss personality characteristics and its development influence factors from grade, gender, the family residence, cultural level of parents and the quantity of Han Chinese friends, the conclusions are as follows:1. There are national characteristics between Tibetan middle school students and Han nationality students in personality traits.2. Personality development of Tibetan middle school students is influenced by mother’s work, the quantity of Han Chinese friends and the fluency in spoken Chinese.3. We should positive launch personality education for Tibetan middle school students.
