Purpose:To investigate and analyze the current situation and influencing factors of physique status of the native primary and middle school students in Ganzi Tibetan area of Sichuan,aiming at comprehensively evaluating the health status of primary and middle school students in Ganzi Tibetan area of Sichuan under the new standards.Methods: By using statistical method,literature data and questionnaire survey methods,physical measurement data of 900 students aged 7-15 in 20 elementary schools and 1 middle school from Xin long county of Ganzi of Sichuan province was analyzed,and the investigation of influencing factors was also conducted,so as to drawing conclusions and making recommendations.Survey results:1.Physical examination results of native Ganzi Tibetan students:Body Shape:(1)Height:The average mean of boys' height in Xin long was1.7cm-6.2cm lower than that of national boys ' height at the same age,and the average mean of girls ' height in Xin long was 2.2cm-5.5cm lower than that of national girl ' s,both showing statistical significance(p<0.05).(2)Weight: The average mean of boys' weight in Xin long was 2.6kg-6.5kg less than that of national boys' weight at the same age showing statistical significance(p<0.05);There is no significant weight difference between Xin long and national girls aged 7,14,15;while the weight average mean of Xin long girls at other ages is 1.6kg-5.2kg less than that of the national girls of the same age which had significant difference(p<0.05).(3)BMI: There is no significant difference of BMI average mean between Xin long and national boys aged 7,9,14,15,while the BMI average mean of Xin long boys at other ages is obvious lower than that of national boys of the same age(p<0.05).There is no significant difference of BMI average mean between Xin long and national girls aged 8,10,11,13,while the BMI average mean of Xin long girls at other ages is obvious lower than that of national girls of the same age(p<0.05).Body Function : The average mean of vital capacity showed no significant difference between Xin long and national boys aged 8,12,13,14,15;while the average mean of vital capacity of Xin long boys at other ages is 71.2ml-124.7ml higher than that of national boys of the same age which had significantdifference(p<0.05).The average mean of vital capacity showed no significant difference between Xin long and national girls aged 14,15;while the average mean of vital capacity of Xin long girls at other ages is 58.9ml-298.2ml higher than that of national girls of the same age,showing significant difference(p<0.05).Physical Quality:(1)Speed Quality:The average mean of 50 m running results of Xin long boys is 0.26s-1.21 s slower than that of national boys of the same age,showing significant difference(p<0.05);There showed no significant difference on the average mean of 50 m running results between Xin long and national girls aged11,14,15;while the average mean of 50 m running results of Xin long girls at other ages is 0.3s-1.74 s slower than that of national girls of the same age with significant difference(p<0.05).(2)Strength Quality:The average mean of standing long jump results of Xin long boys is 9.4cm-14.4cm lower than that of national boys of the same age,showing significant difference(p<0.05);the average mean of 1min sit-up scores of Xin long girls is 1.8-4.6 fewer than that of national girls of the same age with significant difference(p<0.05).(3)Endurance Quality:The average mean of50m×8 run back and forth results of Xin long boys aged 7-12 is 16.4-29.1s slower than that of national boys of the same age,The average mean of 1000 m running results of Xin long boys aged 13-15 is 12.1-20.8s slower than that of national boys of the same age,and both results above had significant difference(p<0.05).The average mean of 50m×8 run back and forth results of Xin long girls aged 7-12 is17.2-20.5s slower than that of national girls of the same age,The average mean of800 m running results of Xin long girls aged 13-15 is 16.5-23.7s slower than that of national girls of the same age,both of which showed significant difference(p<0.05).2.Questionnaire Survey Results:(1)Faculty: The average number of PE teachers in each school was 1.24,schools with qualified quantity of PE teachers accounted for 3.8%.(2)PE courses:Schools with quantity standard accounted for 90.5%,and schools using teaching materials and equipment accounted for 9.5% and 28.6% respectively.(3)Extracurricular sports activities: Running is the main activity with basketball,table tennis,and badminton as the subsidiary ones.(4)Sports ground and equipment: Most of sports ground is cement playground,and most equipment is basketball and table tennis.(5)Nutrition: Daily intake of meat,vegetables and grains in primary studentswas 60-180 g,200-400 g and 100-400 g,and daily intake of those in middle students was 100-200 g,300-500 g and 200-500 g.Conclusion:(1)The native Tibetan primary and middle school students in Sichuan Ganzi area are in normal development of body constitution,among which the levels of height and weight are generally lower than those of nationals of the same age indicating slim body shape,the development degree of body function is better and higher than that of national average level of the same age,and the physical quality development is poor with the overall level lower than the national average level.(2)The school physical education development of Tibetan primary and secondary schools in Sichuan Ganzi area is relatively lagging behind.(3)The native Tibetan primary and secondary school students in Sichuan Ganzi are in good nutritional status.(4)The special geographical environment lays a good foundation for the development of physical function of primary and secondary school students in Ganzi Tibetan area of Sichuan,but also restricts their physical quality development.Suggestions: It is necessary to vigorously develop the economic construction of Ganzi Tibetan area in Sichuan,strengthen the sports infrastructure and funding and scientifically develop the school physical education in line with the actual conditions.Meanwhile,strengthening teacher force and developing competitive sports is also necessary for the physical fitness of Tibetan primary and secondary school students.
