Since the reform and open up, China’s rural migrant workers happened to transfer to non-agricultural industries cities, which speed up the country’s urbanization process and the development of the city. According to the agriculture ministry statistics, the number of rural migrant workers in China is more than242million. Rural migrant workers has become the important strength of our country industrialization development, whose qualities influence on the quality and competitiveness of the industry in China directly as well as related to China’s industrialization and modernization level. However, because of the low integrated quality and skill, it is difficult for rural migrant workers to transfer to non-agricultural industries and cities and difficult to achieve stable employment. Therefore, how to improve their comprehensive quality and labor skills as well as how to achieve the stable job for rural migrant workers, which has become a hotspot in domestic and foreign academic circles. Nowadays qualitative researches on skill training are more in domestic, and also have some empirical researches take a certain area as an example. But most empirical studies are mainly analyze the rural migrant workers in individual characteristics, such as the influence of gender, age, marital status, and cultural degree on skill training for rural migrant workers will. On the basis of former researches, through empirical analysis method, the study is going to find out the influence of living cost of the rural migrant workers on their skill training wills.This study adopted the data of rural migrant workers survey made by Economy and Management Institute in Shanxi Normal University in2011, and the author analyze the data of questionnaire. First the author analyzed the current situation of rural migrant workers’ living cost and skill training will, and then through contingency analysis the relation between the rural migrant workers living cost and skills training will. Next, using logistic regression analysis method, this author analyzed the major factors which influence on rural migrant workers’ skills training wills. The results of the study show that:At present the wills of the rural migrant workers’ skill training are strong, but different individual characteristics and different combination forms of rural migrant workers skill training will be some difference. Rural migrant workers’ the substance cost, social cost and human capital will have a significant influence on its skills training. The specific performances are the workers whose family have more consumers in the facilities have more intense wills of skills training, and the skill training wills of the rural migrant workers whose emotional support network large and have certain social relations are also more intense, however the rural migrant workers who have a training experience during work do not have strong wills of skills training.
