In June1950, the Korean War broke out. China, as one of the major belligerent, facing the relatively inferior situation of war at the beginning of the war, needed to mobilize the domestic forces that can be mobilized to support this war. The movement to Resist U.S. Aggression and Aid Korea, launched in China, was a kind of mass political movement, which supported the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea materially and morally. It was accompanied by the War to Resist U.S. Aggression and Aid Korea, and was also a successful movement of the early founding of the People’s Republic of China. The massive internal propaganda, was an important driving force for the successful advance of the movement to Resist U.S. Aggression and Aid Korea, which prompted the masses to begin to pay attention to the Korean War, and then actively supported the DPRK combat. The period from the beginning of the war to the time when the two sides signed a truce, along with the going on of the war, the propaganda activities also showed large-scale, multi-form characteristics, which was worth to study. At the same time, the Korean War was a war took place outside our borders, but needed to mobilize the people in China to support the war. So it was even more urgent to mobilize domestic people to support the task of fight. Paying attention to the propaganda during the war, was because that the extreme environment of war could make the characteristics and the regularity of the propaganda become more obvious. This paper chooses the Chinese Communist Youth League Central Organ,"China Youth Daily" as the research sample, whose time span is three years from1951to1953when the two sides signed the armistice agreement, and whose object is the news text of propagandizing the movement to Resist U.S. Aggression and Aid Korea in "China Youth Daily" at that time. The purpose of this study, is to clear the propagandistic mechanism behind the propaganda movement by investigating and analyzing the content and process of propaganda and the relevant documents in "China Youth Daily" at the beginning of the movement, and inspecting the various aspects of its propaganda, including whether the methods and strategies could meet the needs of specific environment and time. At the same time, this paper hopes to start from here, and analyzes the problem how to propagandize to specific populations further. In the face of specific people, how can the propagandists make the movement and content of propaganda accord with the expectation and understanding of that type of crowd, affect their state of mind, thought and action, and then achieve the goal and the effect? By analyzing the propaganda of "China Youth Daily", this paper hopes to do some additional works to the study during the period of Resist U.S. Aggression and Aid Korea, and to provide a reference for this media which is still useful today.
