The Propaganda And Mobilization Of The Movement To Resist U.S. And Aid North Korea In Anhui Province

The propaganda and mobilization work in the Movement to Resist U.S.and Aid North Korea played an important role.Like other parts of the country,during the Korean War,the propaganda and mobilization work in Anhui Province was also carried out in different degrees throughout the province.Based on the relevant original materials from 1949 to 1953,such as archives,newspapers,local chronicles,and memoirs,etc.,the article analyzes and discusses the whole process of the movement in Anhui Province,and summarizes the achievements,experiences and lessons of Anhui.The first chapter mainly analyzes the background of the propaganda and mobilization of the Movement to Resist U.S.and Aid North Korea in Anhui Province.One is that after the outbreak of the Korean War,the leadership of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China considered various factors repeatedly and finally made a decision to send troops to North Korea.The other is the economic situation in Anhui Province and the mainstream thoughts of the people in the province before the movement was launched: worship and fear of American sentiment,fear of war for peace,apathy.This opened the prelude to Anhui Province’s the Movement to Resist U.S.and Aid North Korea to support the North Korean front.The promotion of mobilization of chapter two is mainly divided into three parts.The first part is to introduce the basis of the propaganda and mobilization of the Movement to Resist U.S.and Aid North Korea in Anhui Province,such as the establishment of the propaganda network,the formation of the propagandist team,and the completion of the the land reform movement.The second part mainly discusses the specific content of the propaganda campaign,which is the focus of the article,namely,the propaganda of current affairs,the peace signature movement,the demonstrations and complaints movement,the patriotic convention movement,the production increase and donation movement,and the support military movement(visiting North Korea,making condolences,and writing condolence letters)and other major typical movements are discussed in detail.It is worth noting that these movements are not isolated,on the contrary,they are closely linked,especially the patriotic conventions which are the most extensive and run through other movements.The third part discusses the combination of the propaganda and mobilization of the Movement to Resist U.S.and Aid North Korea in Anhui Province with the province’s suppression of counter-revolutionary movements,"three anti-revolutionary movements" and "five anti-revolutionary movements".The third chapter is divided into three parts.The first part mainly summarizes the achievements of the propaganda and mobilization of the Movement to Resist U.S.and Aid North Korea in Anhui Province,including encouraging the masses to join the army,accelerating the process of "governing the Huai River" in northern Anhui,promoting the patriotic health movement and promoting economic recovery and development.The second part summarizes the experience of the movement from the importance of unified leadership and inspection system.The third part summarizes the lessons,emphasizing the need to overcome the imbalance,formalism and the low competence of some propagandists in the propaganda movement.
