Ming Wei Learn To Study

Wei Xuezeng(1525-1596),style name Weiguan and literary name Que An,was born in Jiajing city of Shanxi province.He had been a juren after taking part in the provincial examination in1546.Then he became a successful candidate in the highest imperial examinations and obtained the title of’jin shi"in1553. The highest Position he got was the director of Military Personnel.Court granted him an important position which controls over the three side of the northwest military in the year1591. He presided famous Ning Xia battle at the Ming dynasty of the campaign which happed in1592, this battle lasted half a year end were removes. His career had seen hard times, was removed and to as remultiplexing. at the battle of Ning Xia was later removed by a civilian. He entertained us with reminiscence of his contributions because of his hope returned home to retire several years later died.Wei Xuezeng had not only was an honest and upright officer, but he also was famous for literary grace and warlike exploits,who In the army was respectable and literary accomplishments were also very high.He inherited the style of Si Maqian’s literary works and the style of handwriting from the Jin dynasty, for the pith and substance.He had the several volumes of "Four civil ritual""Liao Yang memorialize the emperor","Collection of poems". And revised "Jing Yang local chronicles" But his works much were scattered and disappear. Nowadays, there is only the nine volumes of Wei Gongxiang collected works.more over,"quotations of Que An "(62volumes),and one poem named "inscription Bao Feng temple wall".Closed at present, there is little research about about his academic research. Based on the study of Wei Xuezeng’s existing works,in the way of literature and the historical textual research on each other, this paper will display the annals of Wei Xuezeng and outline the track of his life.
