| This article includes two parts, namely, animal studies and clinical observation. Through the application of traditional Chinese medicine experience prescriptions Yuping canger san, observe serological and nasal pathological changes of rat model of allergic rhinitis and the improvement about symptoms and signs of clinical allergic rhinitis patients before and after treatment, evaluate the efficacy of Yuping canger san remedy allergic rhinitis. Please described as follows,Part1:Laboratory studiesObjective:To research Yuping canger san whether have a role in treatment of Allergic rhinitis by detecting rats’serum IL-2, IL-4, IgE content and observeing their Nasal pathomorphology changes;Methods:40clean grade male Wistar rats were divided into5groups, include the normal group, the model control group, the Montelukast group, the Yuping canger san group, the group of Yuping canger san be oraled and Xingbiling be driped into the nose, n=8, rats of model groups were made into AR models by the way of Ovalbumin, after the completion of the modeling were given appropriate drug intervention, all rats were killed after2weeks, then testing serum IL-2, IL-4, IgE content and observe their Nasal pathomorphology changes under an optical microscope.Results:After treatment, compared with the control group, the serum IL-2content of model group rats was significantly reduced and at the same time serum IL-4and IgE were significantly increased(P<0.01), there was statistically significant; The serum IL-2level of every treatment groups rats was increased and IL-4/IgE level decreased significantly, there was not statistically significant compared with the nomal group (P>0.05), however, there was a statistically significant between treatment groups and the model group. The nasal pathomorphology performance of normal group rats included pseudostratified ciliated columnar epithelium was complete and smooth, no inflammatory response performance; the nasal epithelial of model group rats was shedding necrosis and discontinous, inflammatory cell infiltration, tissue clearance bleeding, gland hyperplasia and swelling, goblet cells increased, secretions on mucosal surface increased; compared with the model group, the nasal of mentolukast group rats have a significantly improved, only exsist a small amount inflammatory cell infiltration and part of epithelial cell sheded; The nasal of Yuping canger san group rats basicly returned to nomal, and there was no significant inflammation; but it is worth noting that the last group rats’nasal have more serious inflammatory injury, and there is no difference with the model group.Conclusion:The Yuping canger san reaching to correct the imbalance of Thl/Th2by the regulation of the immune system and related cytokines, there was a significant effect on the treatment of Allergic rhinitis; However, the new injury of rats’nasal created by Xingbiling may be the result of the specificity of animals and humans,or nasal was stimulated by physical and chemical properties of drugs.Part2:Clinical observationObjective:To observe clinical efficacy by use Yuping canger san,which is the experience prescription of Professor Yang Daowen, to discriminately remedy Lung spleen deficiency and wind invasion syndrome (DLS wind permits) of Allergic rhinitis.Methods:Apply a randomized, controlled clinical studies before and after treatment,30cases who were discriminated to be DLS wind permits in patients with Allergic rhinitis received the therapy, and to established an observation registration form, focus on the observation of nasal congestion, runny nose, nasal itching, sneezing, nasal swelling, turbinate swelling and other symptoms or signs, respectively recorded these items before and after treatment, then apply the statistical software SPSS17.0to analyze integration and to evaluate the efficacy;Results:After treatment, the patient’s symptoms and signs were significantly improved, there was statistically significant (P<0.01),24cases markedly and6cases effective among of these patients, total effective rate was100%;Conclusion:There was a significant effect on improving clinical symptoms and signs of Allergic rhinitis patients by the application of Yuping canger modified powder. |
