The Clinical Observation About TCM Constitution Distribution And Local Symptoms And Signs On 200 Cases Of Patients With Allergic Rhinitis

Objective:Observation of constitution distribution in patients with AR, to explore the correlation with AR patients gender, age, TCM syndrome type, local symptoms, signs among TCM constitution.Methods:Using the TCM constitution classification and judgment table, the local symptoms and signs of observation table, affiliated to Chengdu University of TCM hospital outpatient department of ENT patients with AR in information collection,the establishment of a database.Using the statistical software SPSS 17.0 statistical analysis.Results:1.88 cases were male (44%); 112 cases were female (56%); the male to female ratio was 1:1.27. The highest incidence of 18-35 years old (59%), followed by the rest of the 10-17 years old (19%),36-55 (18%), aged 56-65 years old (4%).2.Syndrome distribution for the lung spleen kidney deficiency>lung deficiency> lung and spleen deficiency>lung and kidney deficiency>kidney deficiency>lung meridian volt heat>spleen deficiency,spleen and kidney deficiency.3.A single type of constitution in 36 cases (18%); are flat and quality of 22 cases,2 cases of qi deficiency,2 cases of phlegm dampness,10 cases of special intrinsic quality; and constitution in 164 cases (82%). The following distribution:qi deficiency constitution>yang deficiency constitution>intrinsic quality characteristics> yin deficiency constitution> phlegm dampness constitution>qi stagnation constitution >damp heat constitution>blood stasis constitution> gentle constitution.4.the constitution of TCM have a difference between different genders (P<0.05). Male patients with qi deficiency, yin deficiency and other special intrinsic quality and other constitution types more common, female patients with Yang deficiency, qi deficiency, yin deficiency and other special intrinsic quality and other common constitution types.there was no difference in patients with AR in TCM Constitution among different age groups (P>0.05).5.No significant differences between different age paragraph the constitution of TCM (P>0.05); there was significant difference between different TCM syndrome type (P<0.05). Syndrome differentiation in patients with allergic rhinitis type and type of constitution was positive correlation.No significant difference between the TCM Constitution indifferent degree of symptoms (P>0.05). No significant difference of nasal congestion, nasal itching, rhinoceros and sneezing symptoms between different constitutional type (P<0.05).There were significant differences between different constitutional types in the patients of nasal mucous and nasal secretion color color (P<0.05); no significant difference in nasal secretion character in different physical fitness between (P>0.05).Conclusion:This investigation showed:allergic rhinitis incidence of female> male, from 18 to 35 year old youth group was the highest incidence.Syndrome type distribution in the lung and spleen kidney deficiency syndrome, lung deficiency syndrome, lung and spleen deficiency based.constitution distribution in Qi deficiency, yang deficiency constitution, special intrinsic, yin deficiency based, less single constitution, mostly constitution and folders.There were significant differences between different gender and syndromes of TCM Constitution; there was no significant difference between different age and different severity.There were significant differences between different types of constitution of nasal mucous and nasal secretion color; no significant difference between different types of constitution and nasal secretions traits.
