Aim:In this comprehensive study, we want to find how foot angle evaluate the effective of stroke.Method:In this clinical trial, we randomized block divided62patients with stroke spasticity into two treatment groups:acupuncture group (treatment group) and physiotherapy group (control group). All patients received5times treatment per week for4weeks. The effective is measured before treatment, after the first week, and the forth week. The outcome measured by Modified Ashworth Scale (MAS), clinical Spasm Index (CSI), and Foot Print Analysis.Result:MAS:no significantly difference between treatment group and physiotherapy group. But at the4th week acupuncture group compares with before treatment, shows p<0.01.SCI:in acupuncture group, before treatment compare with the4th week, p<0.01, shows very significant difference. In physiotherapy group, before treatment compare with the4th week, p<0.05.Foot Print Analysis:in acupuncture group, before treatment compare with1st week p<0.05, before treatment compare with the4th week is p<0.01. in physiotherapy group, before treatment compare with the1st week p>0.05, before treatment compare with the4th week p<0.05. Group compare:before treatment compare with the1st and4th week p<0.05.Conclusion:MAS, CSI, and Foot Print Analysis all can evaluate the effective of stroke treatment. But Foot Print Analysis is better than CSI, and MAS.
