Liver Spleen Method To Add And Subtract Clinical Research For The Treatment Of Hyperthyroidism

Object:To observe the clinical effects of soothing the liver and strength-ening the spleen in treating Hyperthyroidism.Methods:The research from the endocrine outpartment, Affiliated Hospital ofLiaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine is sixty-three patientsHyperthyroidism,typing of stagnated liver and weakness of the spleenhyperthyroidism patients.They were randomly divided into two groups,32casesin treatment group and31cases in control group.Both of the two groups taketherapeutic dose tapazol and the treatment group also takes the herb.Aftereighter weeks treatment, observation the changs of symptoms and signs,thyroidfunction and therapeutic dose Tapazol of variation by statistical analysis.Results:1.The results of comparing the two groups show that:all the symptoms aftertherapy at four weeks and eight weeks are better than the control group（P＜0.05）.2.Comparing the volume of thyoid, the results of two groups after therapy areobviously lower that before（P＜0.01）. The differences between the two groupsafter therapy are obvious (P＜0.05）.3.Comparision of clinical curative effective of the two groups:The treatmentgroup,s total effective rate is96.7%which is better than that of the controlgroup,80%.The differences are also obvious (P＜0.05）.4. Comparing the changes of two groups’ heart rate after treatment,there isno obvious differences between them（P＞0.05）.5.The thyroid function befor and after therapy, both of the two groups can reduceFT3,FT4and raise the level of TSH. The treatment group is better than thatin control group(P＜0.05）. 6.The differences between the treatment group and control group are obvioussignificant after the patients have taken the therapeutic dose Tapazol foreight weeks (P＜0.01）.Conclusion:1.The method of soothing the liver and strengthening the spleen and takingtherapeutic dose tapazol is better than the only western medicine treatment.2. Traditional Chinese and western medicine of treatment can improve thepatients,irritability,lassitude,hyperhidrosis,fecal cases diarrhea,insomniaand other symptoms and reduce goiter.3.The treatment group is less than the control group in the dosage oftapazol,which may be related to the decrease of bad factors such asemotion,sleeping on hyperthyroidism...
