Dali Bai Nationality Modern Change Research

Dali Bai nationality has a long history, is one of the55ethnic minorities in our country. In the long historical process and specific area environment,through constant production and construction practice, the ancestors of Bai nationality have created traditional residential architecture form which has a strong national style and characteristics of local. However,in the new era,with the development of social economy and the improvement of people’s living level, the traditional Bai nationality residential houses has also been relentlessly involved in the wave of modernization. Especially many ordinary Bai residential buildings in the villages have had dwindling number and increasingly confusing type,and the characteristics have also been gradually disappearing. In view of this, this article takes the large number of Dali Bai nationality residential buildings group distributed in ordinary towns and villages as the research object, basing on making comprehensive use of the relevant literatures and data of field work, shallowly and slightly studies on the modern changes of Dali Bai nationality residential houses from the manifestation of the change, reason analysis, local processing status, countermeasures and other aspects,aiming to cause people to pay attention to the modern changes of the residential houses and culture of the ethnic minorities.This whole article is divided into five parts:The first part is the iniroduction.lt describes the author’s macro understanding and assurance on this topic in this article, including four aspects:the reason of topics, the definition of research object,the current research status at home and abroad,and the study method.The second part is about the historical overview of the Dali Bai nationality residential houses. This part is divided into three sections. The first section introduces the area situation of the formation of the traditional Dali Bai nationality residential houses, mainly including three aspects:the natural geographical conditions, historical culture and national customs atmosphere.The second section traces the history of the evolution of the Dali Bai traditional houses from the changing of the address environment and the evolution of inhabitancy form,and point out the connection between the two.The third section summarizes the basic characteristics of the traditional residence of the Dali Bai nationality,mainly involving the architectural layout, architecture form and construction materials three aspects.The third part is about the modern changes of the Dali Bai nationality residential houses. This part is also divided into three sections. The first section mainly based onthe author’s life experience and the field investigation in holiday, contrasting with the the basic characteristics of the traditional residence of the Dali Bai, makes a more detailed summary for the concrete manifestation of the modern changes of the Dali Bai nationality residential houses in the new era. The second section is more in-depth analysis of the various factors that contributed to the modern change of the Dali Bai nationality residential houses, involving social,economic,cultural,political,technology and other aspects. To cause people pay attention to the modern changes of the minority residential houses in the intuitive feeling of the process of residential changes.
