The soil is one important element of ecological resources and it is one necessary condition for human survival and development, it plays an indispensable role in people’s production life and economic development. However, soil pollution has become the most prominent and serious problem, It affects the quality of life, making intangible harm to people’s health. The widest influence is heavy metal, organic and inorganic pollution which can not be biological degraded by creatures, most pollution is left in the soil and soil can not eliminate it by itself. Therefore, it is necessary to do research and analysis for the pollution in the soil and environment monitoring centre of Yunnan province did the soil pollution monitoring data collection based on1718sampling points in order to better research and analyse the soil pollution elements. According to the implementation plan requirements of investigating and evaluating the quality of Yunnan Province soil environment, I need to evaluate and statistically analyse and enquire, more than1800form and more than300vice statistical figure are generated according to39breakdown of statistics which are based on six categories: physical and chemical properties, inorganic project detection, organochlorine pesticides, pahs, phthalates and totality of organic. And the province and every16of the ground state six kinds of soil types and16type of soil use type. Environment monitoring centre of Yunnan province has entrust Yunnan university information institute with pollution data from a survey to develop the system of soil pollution management and information analysis, this system has realised the basic inquiry function such as evaluation and gathering result according to various kinds of quality testing data provided by environmental monitoring departments, but the common inquiry function can only be given statistic results within the scope of the search, the results did not involve sample point pollution situation, this will bring some limitation to inquiring and getting the pollution situation of the sample point, also can’t intuitively display search results. In order to improve the system of soil pollution management and information analysis of Yunnan Province and optimize the enquiry function of the system, this paper aims at ordinary inquires Functional limitations of the system of Yunnan Province soil pollution management and information analysis to design and implement traceability enquiry by using system of Yunnan Province’s soil pollution management and information analysis as background, Visual Studio2005as platformC#language as developing language, ArcGIS Engine as embedded second development software, SQL Server2005components as database, and applying the contrary thinking process against the original evaluation method, statistics and common inquires. This function is according to the given conditions on to screen out evaluation and statistic results, therefore find out the inquiry result which meets the conditions of the sampling points and the original monitoring information. In addition to the defined function of normal traceability inquiry, it also contains current information, field note information, and display of detection limit information and excels results derived function, at the same time, making showing the traceability inquires more efficient by rendering the system with GIS and drawing specifically for GIS rendering results.Traceability inquiry function not only helps staff to screen out evaluation and statistic results which meet the conditions, but also satisfies environmental staffs’ needs of getting the evaluation and statistic result of the sample point and its original monitoring information. Besides that, it can render the map according to sample points and save the rendering results in a specific form, making the inquiry results can be displayed on the map and letting the results be more direct.
