As we all know,80percent of the world’s Overseas Chinese living in SoutheastAsia. After the war2, with Southeast Asian countries to get rid of Western colonialrule,set up an independent state, under the encouragement of the People’s Republic ofChina, to adapt to the new international situation changes, most of the overseasChinese have to renounce their Chinese nationality and chose to join the localnationality, been the country national legal status of citizens. However, at the junctionof the "Golden Triangle" region in Southeast Asia, Thailand, Myanmar and Laos, livein a large group of special overseas Chinese. They had alerted to the situation in theregion, attracting the world’s attention, but just as fleeting meteor, and soon they wereforgotten. Their status are special, some of them have been awarded the citizenshipcertificate, but not full of civil right. Some are deliberately different from the otherOverseas Chinese, is defined as indigenous minorities."Golden Triangle" region, adjacent to Yunnan Province of China, also the world’sleading drug-producing areas. It stable or not, will affect the security anddevelopment of southwest China. Out of concern for compatriots, for thinking of ournational interests in dealing with the overseas Chinese affairs, for the past China’sOverseas policy had to reflect, and to develop countermeasures, which is also thestarting point for research where.
