In modern Chinese, the character "打" is an entry that has the mostitems of meaning included in such authoritative dictionaries as "Contemporary Chinese Dictionary" and "Eight Hundred Words in Contemporary Chinese". It has plenty of meanings and its usage is complicated. The corresponding expression of "打" in Korean is not single either.To reveal the corresponding Korean expression of the Chinese character "打", an analytical research on the corresponding Korean "打", both compound-word morpheme and non-word morpheme respectively, was carried out from the aspect of morpheme-meaning. This essay will be divided into five chapters, and each chapter’s main points are as follows:In Chapter1, the purpose and contents of this essay will be statedthrough the analysis of the beforehand study.In Chapter2, a brief illustration on the morpheme-meaning categorization of "打" will be demonstrated.Chapter3focuses on the corresponding Korean expression of non-wordmorpheme "打". According to the varied combinations of two morphemes incompound words, the author will categorize the compound word containing"打" into four structures: verb-object, verb-complement, coordinate structure and structure of modification, and then analyze "打" in these four structures respectively as well as identify their corresponding Koreanexpression. In the following, a comparison between "打" and its corresponding Korean expression will be made.In Chapter4, by referring to the entry "打" in "Eight Hundred Wordsin Contemporary Chinese","Standard Contemporary Chinese Dictionary (Revised)" and "Grand Chinese Dictionary", the author will conduct a comparative analysis of the compound-word morpheme "打" and its correspondingKorean expression from the perspective of verbs, prepositions, auxiliary, conjunctions.Chapter5will make a conclusion and summarize the overall content of the essay.
