With the development of Chinese users, more and more foreigners cometo China to learn Chinese. So, the teachers, who teach Chinese, andcommunity enthusiasts are constantly exploring new methods and teachingChinese Foreign programs.As we all know, vocabulary teaching is anindispensable part of teaching Chinese, vocabulary teaching researchfocuses on “word-based”、character-based" and “morpheme-based”,butmany researches pointes that learner performance in the different stagesof learning for different learning characteristics, so there has beencontroversy about the vocabulary teaching.Through this study, we investigate the initial stage of learners andmorpheme whole word recognition, the detection of cases of primarylearners characterization double word, thus providing little basis forvocabulary teaching. In this study, word recognition test, investigatecases of primary learners to identify whole words and morphemes. Testresults show that the primary learners, whole word recognition scores were significantly better than the morpheme recognition results whichsupport the initial stage of Chinese learners tend to characterize thewhole word, morpheme characterization is weak. Meanwhile, South Koreanstudent representation and whole words are better than European andAmerican Speed characterize students; about into words on the hormone andnot into word, into word characterize distinctly, not into word primecharacterize weak.Based on our findings, we try to make some suggestions on vocabularyteaching. First of all, the whole word should be based, whilestrengthening morpheme teaching; Secondly, to strengthen the teaching ofword formation; Third, to enhance teaching methods combined with other.We also write textbooks for some suggestions.
