The original scientific and technological theory of alienation is not onlybelong to Marcuse, but Marcuse is the first philosopher who sets up thesystem of science and technology theory of alienation in the philosophyhistory. Scientific and technological alienation is the axis of Marcuse’scritical theory of society,Five levels of the one-dimensional theory bases onthe scientific and technological alienation theory,The slavery in developedindustrial society is the one-dimensional theory the focus of criticism,Thenegative is Marcuse’s object of redemption.But Marcuse made three fatalmistakes:criticism of science and technology instead of a critique of thecapitalist system,psychological analysis’ instead of historicalmaterialism,the liberation of Eros instead of the class struggle.Hisemotional critical only excavated the abyss in the superficial world ofadvanced industrial society theory, no depth to reach the level of thesystem.Only by returning to Marx’s research horizon, in order tothoroughly complete the critique of the ideology of developped industrialsocieties.The article is divided into three parts:The first part, focusing onanalysis of the theoretical origins of scientific and technological alienationand Marcuse, the reality in which the background;The second part came outwith five parallel levels of one-dimensional theory of Marcuse built on thebasis of the technological alienation theory,pointed out that the alienation ofreality problem;The third part focuses on critical Marcuse inability ofredemption program.And pointed out that the hope is to return to Marx’sresearch areas to solve the problem.
