A Study Of Female Alienation In The Context Of Historical Materialism

Historical materialism is a scientific methodology for studying social reality,as well as a modern practical philosophy open to the times,which has important guiding significance for the study and analysis of real problems.This article analyzes female alienation in the context of historical materialism theory,and tries to find the root cause of female alienation and the way to dissolve female alienation.The article is divided into three chapters.Chapter 1 firstly traces the origin of the term "alienation",and the development of the concept of "alienation" has gone through three stages in general,namely,the medieval theological stage,the social contract theory stage and the classical German philosophy stage.Marx’s theory of alienation was established through the critical inheritance of Feuerbach and Hegel.As a necessary stage in the process of historical development,alienation is inevitable,and Marx believed that alienation should be actively abandoned in order to pursue the return of individual essence and ultimately realize communism.Chapter 2 firstly compares the main views of Western feminist scholars on female alienation theory,especially represented by Beauvoir,Ferman and Jagger,presenting different focuses on female alienation.Secondly,under the theoretical framework of historical materialism,it analyzes the causes,main connotations and main manifestations of female alienation,revealing that female alienation is on the one hand due to the multiple social standards of women,and on the other hand due to the continuous pursuit of these external standards.On the other hand,women,as individuals in reality,have to bear their obligations but are not given the rights to match them.Chapter 3 mainly explores the path to dissolve female alienation and realize female emancipation by starting from the root causes of female alienation in the previous section.The ultimate goal of historical materialism is to pursue the free and comprehensive development of human beings,and female emancipation is an indispensable part of it.In order to realize female liberation,women need to establish subject consciousness,recognize the falsehood of the multiple standards and evaluation systems constructed by society for women,pursue the essence of human being in reality,and pursue comprehensive and free personal development.At the same time,human beings should eliminate the prejudice and antagonism between genders in the situation of "life-like",build the idea of gender community At the same time,human beings should seek cooperation between men and women in the pursuit of human liberation.
