On Alienation Of Science And Technology Viewed From The Point Of The Historical Materialism

Science and technology is the crystallization of human wisdom, and it is the tool to uncover the mysteries of nature and help the People get rid of natural slavery, and it is a means of human to create brilliant material civilization and spiritual civilization,and it is a sign of human to set their body and mind free. But this doesn’t mean that science and technology can only have a positive impact on human’s survival and development. Science and technology deviate from human’s purpose and need and restrict human living and growth when it has been widely used and get a rapid growth. This is the alienation of science and technology. It damaged the ecological environment what is the survival of human and led to the crisis of human beings and restricted the sustainable development of society. So People began to study and to explain the alienation of science and technology from different perspectives, and then find a way out of it.Combined with the reality, this paper is based on the Marx’s thought of science and technology and historical materialism to have a depth analysis of the alienation of science. First, this paper hackled the nexus between science and technology and the historical evolution of the concept of alienation, and then get the basic concept of the alienation of science and technology after comparing the alienation of science and technology with related areas. Then this paper drew the unadulterated intension on technological alienation from the perspective of Marx’s science and technology thought. Secondly, the paper detailed analysis the crisis in the society, people and the environment from the alienation of science and technology .Thirdly ,this paper explored the real sources of technological alienation, explained the deep reasons which were Capitalist system and Limitation of understanding and the control of instrumental of it.Fourthly, the paper analyzed the road how to discard the alienation of science and technology under the direction historical materialism for Socialistic China. China can’t give up eating for fear of choking and stop the development of science and technology, but persist in the revolutionary position of it and establish a correct view of Science and develop more humanization and green technologies, then the science and technology can provide a better service at the society. At the same time china need to improve the socialism system structure through reforming the socialist system and sounding a socialist law of science and technology and building the socialist moral system and coordinating various of conflicts of interest to achieve the objective of discard of the alienation of science-technology.
