In allpersonality characteristics, boys’scores were higher than girls. Compared to girls, boysreported more physical coercion, verbal hostility, and authoritarian and punishment from parents.2 Positive correlations were found between SWB and Extraversion(E) of personality, andnegative correlations between SWB and Neuroticism(N), Psychoticism(P) of personality.3 Father’s warmth support conduct and democracy will produce positive influences tochildren’s development of SWB, while father’s body compel, verbal hostility, and arbitrarypunishment will produce negative influences to children’s development of SWB.4 Regression analysis indicated that after controlling for the effect of children’s gender etc,P and N negatively predicted satisfactions of family, friends, school and living environment, andE positively predicted all dimensions of SWB.5 The parents’inducting and guidance will have moderated the relationship between N andfamily satisfaction, and the physical coercion will have moderated the relationship between Pand friends satisfaction.
