As the show of Where Are We Going,Dad?and Dad is back broadcast,fathers' education become increasingly a hot topic in today's society.To know which role the father play in the link of education and how the father play the role in the development of children.This study took on schoolchildren of grade four to six 11 classes and their fathers of experimental primary school in Gan Jingzi district of Da Lian as the subjects,adopted questionnaire method,did research on the self-consciousness of primary school students rearing patterns of their fathers,their fathers' education investment and the relations of three.Research contents include: to investigate the difference of grade and gender of 4-6 grade elementary student's self-consciousness,their fathers' parenting styles and education investment;to investigate the relations of schoolchildren self-consciousness,their fathers' parenting styles,and their fathers' education investment;to analyze the possibility of regulative effect of fathers' education investment on father's parenting style and students' self-consciousness development.The main results were as follows:First,there are the gender differences in fathers' parenting styles of 4-6 grade elementary students,There were significant differences with respect to strict punishment,excessive protection;Second,there exist the gender and grade differences in fathers' education investment of 4-6 grade elementary students.The boys' fathers' scores of rules taught is significantly higher than the scores of girls' fathers.For the students of grade 4,the scores of boys' fathers is significantly higher than the girls' fathers in the aspect of of parent profession's growth;Third,there exist the gender and grade differences in students' self-consciousness development of 4-6 grade elementary students.In terms of behavior,girls' scores is significantly higher than boys';In gregariousness aspect,the scores of grade 4 is significantly higher than that of grade 5,grade 6 is significantly higher than that of grade 5,but the grade 4 and grade 5 does not exist significant differences;Fourth,emotional warmth and understanding of fathers' parenting style has a significant positive correlation with self consciousness,while severe punishment,deny and excessive protection was negatively correlated with self consciousness;while parenting investment is not related with the self consciousness.At the same time,the two aspects of emotional warmth,understanding and excessive interference in the fathers' parenting style were positively correlated with the fathers' education investment;Fifth,the regulating effect of fathers' education investment on father's parenting styles(emotional warmth and severe punishment)and the development of students' self consciousness.When his fathers' parenting investment reached a certain extent,the emotional warmth of parenting style can predict the level of self consciousness of the high grade pupils positively,the severe punishment parenting style can predict the level of self consciousness of the medium and high grade pupils negatively.
