This paper carries out a analysis on the Selection of Chinese text books(the sevento twelve copies),which are using in all of Chinese school in Cambodia. The papersystematic explores the characteristics of the texts in arrangement, ideological topics,the style and the country-specific. The author analyzes the proportion and distributionof ideological topics and styles in Chinese text books on the statistical data. On thebasis, the author analyzed and discussed the deficiencies existing in the Chineseteaching materials. In additional, the author investigates the country-specific incompiling Chinese text books, pointing out the important of the new conception of“country-specific”。Finally,on this basis,we Provides some views and suggestions on how toimprove the target in compilation the overseas Chinese teaching materials andteaching materials of teaching Chinese as a second language. This study hopes to givesome advice and suggestions for the compilers of the Cambodia version of Chinesetextbooks.
