The textbook is the foundation and main basis for the teaching process. If wewant to improve the teaching quality, we must find one ideal textbook. The textbookcontains the teaching theory teaching contents and teaching method, it also can beseen as the most important communicate media between the teachers and students.Students can acquire knowledge skill and learning strategy from the textbooks. Weneed continuously analyze and evaluate the textbook in order to enhance the qualityof the textbook so that we can guarantee the quality of the teaching.This thesis will take the Great Wall Chinese as the evaluation object under theguidance of the textbook evaluation theory and research. This thesis also willdescribe the current situation of the Great Wall Chinese through these aspects suchas grammar, text, vocabulary, practice, character, culture items. This thesis will getthe deeply evaluation through the questionnaire to the students and teachers of theNorth South University Confucius Institute, Bangladesh. This thesis tries to point outthe advantage and disadvantage points of the Great Wall Chinese and offer relevantsuggestions or compilation plan.
