Career decision-making is one of the most critical and important choices for each individual in his life. And different choice means dissimilar career development as well as diverse life style. Occupational exploration is an important stage in career decision-making process, whose aim is for better choice in career decision-making. Therefore, career decision-making self efficacy, as an important element in the research area of career, has definite instruct meaning to understand the individual’s psychology and the characteristic of behavior, either guidance for schools employment through this study.Based on reviewing the related researches on career decision-making process and career decision-making self efficacy, combining of methods of measurement and experimental, focusing on the senior, this study examines the effect of career decision-making self efficacy on occupational exploration and decision making.Firstly, the article has explored on the relationship of career decision-making self efficacy and occupational exploration. Based on the survey of389university senior, the results show that there has a significant positive correlation career decision-making self efficacy and occupational exploration. There also have different impacts of five dimensions of career decision-making self efficacy on occupational exploration.Secondly, through information board experiment of career decision-making, the article investigated the effect of career decision-making self efficacy on career decision making information process. The results show that individual has different expression within four tasks while the career decision-making information process is being great influenced by career decision-making self efficacy. Specifically, it conducts the following conclusions:(1) It is task condition that effects by the average time span of decision-making, depth of researching information and mode of the career information investment.(2) Career decision-making self efficacy has vary degrees of impact on average time span of decision-making, depth of researching information, and the most obviously, on mode of the career information investment. It conducts that high efficacy of career decision-making self efficacy group will research and collect selective-based information under four tasks conditions, compared, low efficacy of career self-making decision efficacy group will research and collect selective-based information under four tasks conditions information, and gradually change to the eight type of occupation under the conditions of the property-based search mode. There is a significant positive correlation among career decision-making self efficacy and the average time span of decision-making, depth of researching information as well as mode of the career information investment. The five dimensions of career decision-making self efficacy have a different predictive effect on the elements of career decision-making process.
