Effects Of He Ye Jiang Zhi Decoction On The Expressions Of Insulin Resistance And Inflammatory Factor C-reactive Protein In Patients With Metabolic Syndrome

Objective To observe the clinical curative effect of He Ye Jiang Zhi decoction on metabolic syndrome, and the effect of insulin resistance and inflammatory factor C-reactive protein.Methods Altogether138metabolic syndrome patients were enrolled. All the patients were divided into two groups randomly to identify the effect He Ye Jiang Zhi decoction. Both groups were treated by the same basic western medicine, In addition, the treatment groups were added by He Ye Jiang Zhi decoction everyday. Both groups were treated for12weeks. WC、FPG、FINS、BP(SBP、DBP)、TC、TG、HDL-c、LDL-c、CRPand TCMSS were observed before and after treatment. And the adverse reactions were recorded.Results(1) Totally there were120patients completed the12-weeks observation. The number of patients who had completed the observation in the treatment groups and the comparison groups was60and60respectively.(2) The treatment groups and the comparison groups can make the WC and BMI decreased significantly (P＜0.01), and both lower WC and BMI were significant difference (P＜0.05).(3) The treatment groups can make SBP and DBP decreased significantly (P＜0.01). The comparison groups can make SBP and DBP decreased significantly (P<0.05), The difference between the two was significant (P<0.05). The antihypertensive efficiency of the treatment groups is91.7%, and the comparison groups is75.0%, The difference between the two was significant (P<0.05).(4) The treatment groups and the comparison groups can make the FBG、2hPG、 FINS、HOMA-IR decreased significantly (P＜0.01). Difference between the two groups on the decline in blood glucose and insulin resistance was significant (P<0.05), also on the decline fasting insulin (P＜0.01), but on the decline in blood glucose showed no significant difference(P>0.05).The hypoglycemic efficiency of the treatment groups is85.0%, and the comparison groups is66.7%, both of the efficacies has significant differences (P<0.05).(5) The treatment groups can make TC、TGdecreased(P＜0.01), the comparison groups also can make TC、TG decreased(P<0.05), both the decline in TC were significantly different (P＜0.01), but in TG was no significant(P>0.05). The treatment groups and the comparison groups can increased HDL-c and lowed LDL-c (P＜0.01), both groups in increased HDL-c showed significant difference (P<0.05)., but in lowed LDL-c showed no significant difference (P>0.05). Efficiency is85.0%in the lipid-lowering efficacy of the treatment groups. The efficiency of the comparison groups is71.7%. The difference between the two was no significant (P>0.05).(6) The decrease of the level of serum CRP decreased after the treatment was notably higher in the treatment groups than in the control groups(1.82±1.35versus1.16±0.97, p<0.05).(7) The efficiency of the treatment groups in improve the TCM symptoms integration is88.3%and the efficiency is66.67%of the comparison groups. The difference between the two was significant (P＜0.05). The treatment groups can significantly improve the TCM symptoms (P＜0.05). the comparison groups also improve the TCM symptoms, but improved no significantly (P>0.05). The difference between the two was significant (P<0.05).Conclusion He Ye Jiang Zhi decoction is not only able to improve the status of hyperglycemia、hypertension、high cholesterol and obesity, easing of insulin resistance and inflammatory condition, but also significantly improve the TCM symptoms. So He Ye Jiang Zhi decoction is a safe and effective compound of treatment metabolic Syndrome.
