Objective To discuss several kinds of the surgery procedures and treatment effects ofrepairing degloving injuries of the whole hand.Methods30cases with degloving injury of the whole hand treated in our hospital fromJuly2002to January2012were followed up. The groups were arranged according to thekind of the surgery procedures as follows: replantation group (15cases), pedicle skin flapgroup (5cases) and free flap group (10cases). The functions of the repaired hands in threegroups were evaluated according to the evaluation criteria for hand reconstruction and theresults were compared and analyzed correspondingly.Results The percent of impairment of total hand function was35.79%in replantationgroup,82.80%in pedicle skin flap group and68.15%in free flap group. These resultsshowed that the treatment effect of replantation was best and pedicle skin flap was worst.Conclusion In the three kinds of surgery procedures for repairing degloving injury of thewhole hand, the treatment effect of free flap was better than pedicle skin flap and worsethan replantation.
