Objective:To investigate the polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) patients withserum thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH), serum free three iodine, thethyroid glycine (FT3) and free thyroxine (FT4), three iodine, the thyroidglycine (T3), thyroxine (T4) level change and its relationship with thedegree of illness.methods:During the period from2010December to2012December weretreated at the Jilin University Second Hospital Department ofgynaecology outpatient and reproductive center line of thyroid functiontests in127cases. The normal pregnant women (normal thyroid function of18cases).109patients with dilute ovulation or anovulation, of which46patients were diagnosed as PCOS, the other63patients witholigomenorrhea or anovulation ovulation (excluded PCOS). Fastingvenous blood from patients, were determined by chemiluminescencemethod: three free triiodothyronine (FT3), serum free thyroid hormone(FT4), three triiodothyronine (TT3), thyroxine (TT4), thyroid stimulatinghormone (TSH), the reference range was3.19~9.15pmol/l,9.11~25.47pmol/l, pmol/l0.8~2.2,42~135pmol/l and0.3~5.6mIU/L wereexcluded from the history of thyroid disease and thyroid operation history.According to the PCOS diagnosis standard were divided into two groups. The experimental group:46cases were diagnosed PCOS patients; thecontrol group: normal pregnant women (normal thyroid function)18;comparative statistics were TSH, FT3, FT4, TT3, TT4statistics. Serumthyroid hormone levels was statistically calculated and compared. results:Compared to the level of thyroid hormone of thyroid hormone levelsin PCOS patients and normal pregnant women, patients with PCOS TSHlevels were significantly higher than that of normal pregnancy women’slevel of TSH, FT3, FT3, TT4levels were significantly lower than innormal pregnancy women, while TT3had no obvious difference, considermay be due to the body plays a major role in the thyroid hormone freethyroid hormone. Comparison of dilute serum thyroid hormone inpatients with ovulation or anovulatory patients with PCOS and has beenruled out the diagnosis criteria of PCOS, the FT4, TT4, TT3levels weresignificantly higher than the former, but FT3, TSH level of two, thedifference is not obvious, no statistical significance. Considering possiblebecause there is a common disorder in dilute ovulation or anovulation, leading to changes in TSH. When comparing patients with or without dilute ovulation ovulation pregnancy women with normal thyroidhormone levels have been excluded the diagnosis criteria of PCOS, theformer FT3, FT4average level is lower than the latter, the level of TSHand the former was slightly higher than the latter, but the difference issmall, no statistical significance.Conclusion:1, the correlation between PCOS patients with hypothyroidism;2, thin ovulation or no patients with ovulation, the thyroid functionof expression are different;3, thyroid hormone levels may be a cause of the PCOS happen.
