Objective:To study the curing effect comparatively in applying the low frequency electrotherapy treatment and electro-acupuncture treatment to cure the shoulder-hand syndrome after hemiplegia. Methods:The subjects with hemiplegia after stroke,60 patients diagnosed as shoulder-hand syndrome in patients, according to the principle of random sampling, patients were divided into acupuncture treatment group and low frequency treatment group,30 patients in each group. Acupuncture treatment group in which Shanghai G9805-C low-frequency electronic pulse therapeutic apparatus (four) in the treatment, each time with intermittent wave treatment for 30 minutes, the points selected Baihui, contralateral middle 2/5 of anterior oblique line of vertex-temporal, lateral line 2 of vertex, and ipsilateral jian liao, jian yu, jian zhen, jian jin, qu chi, he gu, yang chi, yang xi, yang gu, ba xie; the low frequency electric therapy group use the FRP-Ⅳbased functional rehabilitation of paralyzed Instrument made in BeiJing, low frequency electrical stimulation of the bidirectional symmetric square wave, frequency 10Hz, pulse width of 1ms, the output voltage of 54V, for 15 minutes each treatment. Both groups were treated for 20 days,10 days for a course of treatment. After the treatment, both groups of patients were upper extremity pain, edema, metacarpophalangeal joint range of motion assessment of rehabilitation compared to VAS method of upper limb pain, shoulder movement, the metacarpophalangeal joint range of motion and edema for efficacy evaluation, using the modified Fugl-Meyer method[1] on upper extremity motor function of the efficacy of a comprehensive evaluation, the use of nimodipine method of the clinical effect of shoulder-hand syndrome was evaluated. Points before and after treatment by the statistical analysis, count data groups were compared by chi square test, measurement data between groups with t test used to compare the level of information between the two groups rank test. Results:The statistical test showed that acupuncture therapy is a treatment for shoulder-hand syndrome after hemiplegia active and effective treatment, the total effective rate was 93.33%, low frequency therapy is the treatment of stroke shoulder-hand syndrome after hemiplegia effective treatment, the total effective rate was 86.67%. The clinical efficacy of treatment were statistically significant differences, indicating that the EA treatment group was more efficient than low-frequency electric therapy group. Two groups on the shoulder-hand syndrome shoulder activity, and metacarpophalangeal joint motion before and after the integration by edema of no statistically significant difference, but after acupuncture treatment, the pain of the upper limb (VAS method) score 1.60±1.07, while the low-frequency electric therapy group after treatment, upper extremity pain (VAS method) a score of 2.27±0.87, were statistically processed (P<0.05) significant differences, indicating that the treatment group was superior to low frequency group in the pain therapy. Conclusion:The low-frequency electrical acupuncture therapy and treatment could improve the symptoms of shoulder-hand syndrome, but the electric acupuncture group improved in terms of pain relief upper-frequency electric therapy group was significantly lower, while the total electric acupuncture therapy in the superior efficiency low-frequency electric therapy.
