Analysis The Health Status And Community Care Needs Of The University Of Elderly In JinZhou City

ObjectiveThis research is to understand the health state and the community nursing needs of the elderly and investigate the related factors of these。 Provide scientific basis for the development of community elderly care service and the relevant departments to formulate relevant policies as well as the next step in the intervention study.MethodsThis study adopted a cross-sectional survey. By using cluster sampling method extraction1050elderly people aged60or older from University for the elderly in Jinzhou City, conducted a questionnaire survey to them. According to the population proportion of Linhe District, Guta District, Taihe District in Jinzhou City. The questionnaire included:the elderly general information, Suffering from chronic diseases, the two week prevalence rate and living habits, the SF-36scale (U.S. Department of Health concise scale), communitycare needs of the questionnaire. Using SPSS18.0statistical software packages for data input and statistics. Statistical methods Include descriptive statistics, univariate t test, ANOVA, chi-square test, correlation analysis, multiple linear regression analysis.ResultsThe chronic disease detection rate of the community elderly was85.45%, The two-week prevalenee rates was485.7%of the elderly. SF-36scale overall score of the elderly was73.68±13.62, Physical health level score was 73.45±18.17, the mental health level score was74.70±17.97, all in the middle level. Scores of the PF、RP、BP、GH、VT、SF、RE、MH8dimensions respectively were80.37±23.04、69.41±40.95、78.79±16.35、65.23±18.4875.02±18.40、80.88±18.55、69.60±40.87、73.31±17.70. In BP and VT two dimensions were significantly higher than the U.S. norm (P<0.05). Multiple regression analysis showed that factors influencing health status were age, gender, chronic disease, bad habits, health examination.The old people community nursing demand of the top five were:organize regular physical examination, geriatric nursing specialist clinic, community nurses to improve service levels, health knowledge lectures, community emergency nursing care.The influence factors of the community nursing demanded of the elderly were:two week prevalence, health, economic status, number of children.Conclusion1.the health status of the elderly in the middle level, chronic disease incidence and two week prevalence rate is higher. The community needs to strengthen preventive health knowledge education and chronic disease management.2. the male elderly health status was significantly lower than that of female. The community nursing service should put more attention to elderly men.3. Age, gender, chronic disease, bad habits, economic condition and medical effects of the health status of the elderly.4. Elderly mental health was in the medium level, and the elderly were not paid enough attention to mental health, and had lower demand of mental health care.SO community nurses need to focus on elderly mental health, strengthen the guidance of the elderly mental health.5. The elderly high quality nursing care needs and the current status of community nursing services have certain contradiction, the community should organize regular physical examination; speeding up the country community geriatric nursing personnel training, improve service quality; to strengthen the infrastructure of the community construction community nursing service.6. Two week prevalence, physical health, economic status, number of children affect the elderly community nursing demand. The community need to develop individualized service for low income, chronic diseases, and two week prevalence of children or the elderly of "empty nest", meet the needs of older people, and promote healthy ageing.7.The elderly had a higher awareness of community care, but the utilization rate was lower, and overall satisfaction was at the middle level. Community care need to strengthen the promotion, utilization and satisfaction based on needs of the elderly.
