The Research Of Distribution Characteristics Of Kidney Deficiency Syndrome And Physical Constitution Type Of Infertility

Objective:The study is to know the distribution of kidney deficiency syndrome in infertility, discuss the distribution characteristics of physical constitution type in infertility and analyze distribution characteristics of physical constitution type about the kidney deficiency syndrome and kidney non-deficiency syndrome. Methods:The study follow the clinical epidemiological survey reference to the higher medical colleges and universities teaching material " Gynecology of traditional Chinese medicine","Guidelines for clinical research of Traditional Chinese Drug "promulgated by health ministry in1993," The reference standard of differentiation of TCM deficiency syndrome " reformulated in1986," TCM constitution classification and identification" published by Chinese Medical Association in2009,in order to established unified questionnaire about syndromes and constitution, investigated the patients with infertility who are treated in West China second University Hospital and The Second Affliated Hospital of Chengdu University of TCM on November2011-April2012.The patients were divided into kidney deficiency and kidney non-deficiency according to TCM Syndrome Differentiation, and to know the distribution of infertility in kidney deficiency syndrome and kidney non-deficiency syndrome, and also to analyze the physical constitution of infertility, The study use spass17.0statistical analysis software package to analyze the correlation of patient’s age, body mass index, cultural level, course of disease, pregnancies, etiology with syndromes (kidney deficiency syndrome/kidney non-deficiency syndrome), discuss the constitution type, and explore the physical constitution distribution about the kidney deficiency syndrome and kidney non-deficiency syndrome.Results:1.The study collected valid451cases of infertility patients, an average of the age is31.9±5.3years, an average of the body weight is21.1±2.5index, an average of the course disease are5.3±4.0yeas, the patients who had make IVF-ET treatment but failure are40cases.2. The case study of syndrome differentiation, because the kidney deficiency are292cases (64.7%),and kidney non-deficiency syndrome are159cases (35.3%), which is divided into kidney deficiency group and kidney non-deficiency group according to syndrome differentiation of TCM.3. The differences in pregnancies had statistical significance (P<0.05) in kidney deficiency group and kidney non-deficiency group, when the Pregnancies is more than3times that of infertility deficiency higher than others,. While the patient’s age, body mass index, cultural level, course of disease, the etiology in kidney deficiency group and kidney non-deficiency group differences were no statistical significance (P>0.05).4. The patients in this study divided into normal constitution which had168patients (37.3%), and abnormal constitution which had283cases (62.7%). The single in abnormal constitution were95cases (33.6%), the complex were188cases (66.4%). Abnormal constitution in single cases were Yang Deficiency Constitution40cases (42.1%)> Qi Stagnation Constitution19cases (20.0%)> Dampness-heat constitution11cases (11.6%)> Yin deficiency Constitution8cases (8.4%)> Qi Deficiency Constitution in7patients (7.4%) of> blood stasis Constitution5cases (5.3%), phlegm-dampness constitution5cases (5.3%). Composite Constitution appear frequency is the Yang Deficiency Constitution140frequencies.(21.7%)> Qi Stagnation Constitution103frequencies (15.9%)> Yin deficiency Constitution97frequencies (15.0%)> Qi deficiency Constitution85frequencies (13.2%)> Dampness-heat constitution78frequencies (12.1%)> blood stasis Constitution76frequencies (11.8%)> phlegm-dampness Constitution56frequencies (8.7%)> hyPersensitivity Constitution11frequencies (1.7%). Compound two constitution appeared cases of the most three is Yang deficiency merge of Qi Stagnation Constitution33cases (17.5%)> Yang deficiency merger of Qi deficiency Constitution23cases (12.2%)> Yang deficiency merger of Yin deficiency Constitution20cases (10.6%). 5. The infertility patient’s age, body mass index, cultural level, course of disease, pregnant times, etiology and TCM Constitution distribution were no statistical significance (P>0.05).6. The patients who belong to Kidney deficiency group are292cases, the normal constitution are91case(31.2%), the abnormal constitution are201cases (68.8%). The patients who belong to Kidney non-deficiency group are159cases, the normal constitution are77cases (48.4%), the abnormal constitution are82cases (51.6%). the distribution abnormal constitution of Kidney deficiency group and Kidney non-deficiency group are different, it had statistical significance (P<0.05)), The most three of abnormal constitution in kidney deficiency group are Yang deficiency constitution146frequencies (28.6%), Yin deficiency constitution87frequencies (17.1%), Qi deficiency constitution81frequencies (15.9%), The most three of abnormal constitution in non-deficiency kidney group are Qi Stagnation constitution52frequencies (22.5%), Dampness-heat constitution44frequencies (19.0%)and blood stasis constitution.36frequencies (15.6%).Conclusion:1. The deficient kidney syndrome is an important syndrome type of infertility. While the pregnancy times over3, the patients with kidney deficiency are higher than others.2. Infertility is predominantly abnormal constitution, and Yang deficiency constitution and Qi Stagnation constitution is the most common constitution type.3Most of kidney deficiency of infertility patients are abnormal to qualitative, Yin deficiency constitution, and Yang deficiency constitution, Qi deficiency constitution; Most of kidney non-deficiency of infertility patients are Qi-stagnation constitution, damp-heat constitution,blood stasis constitution, matter distribution majority quality.
