Objective:to observe the clinical efficacy to treat dermatolysis on the middle/lower part of the face by needling penetrated the facial section of Stomach Meridian of Foot-Yangming with elongated needlesMethods:to observe the clinical efficacy before/after the treatment, as well as the untoward reaction, between the treatment group and the reference group, comprising half of the62selected Type I and II (Qi deficiency of spleen and stomach) dermatolysis sufferers each, which are treated respectively with elongated needles and facial needles.Results:among all the tested cases suffering from dermatolysis in the middle/lower facial part, the treatment group and reference group respectively register97%and94%in comprehensive efficacy, and13%and6%in efficacy rate. As revealed by the statistics, no apparent discrepancy (p>0.05) exists between the two groups regarding the comprehensive efficacy. Nevertheless, the treatment group entails a remarkably less number of needlings than the reference group, alleviating the sufferers to a larger extent.Conclusion:it is expressive in efficacy and easy to operate, and worth being spread over to treat dermatolysis on the middle/lower facial part by needling penetrated the facial section of Stomach Meridian of Foot-Yangming with elongated needles. |
