Embedded With Care:Social Work Intervention In Rehabilitation Patients Health Care Policy Recommendations

Hospital patients of rehabilitation after out of danger, how to positively with rehabilitation training, how to embed the medical social work better to provide service for the patients in the hospital rehabilitation section is a difficult problem for medical social workers. By analyzing the present status of the medical social work in China and the existing problems, combined with rehabilitation division, the characteristics and the needs of patients, put forward strategies to advance medical social work in China, to build a harmonious doctor-patient relationship to meet patients needs. This article through the literature method, participant observation, interviews, and the internship experience in the rehabilitation of hospital to explore the problems of medical social work that exist in the intervention to the patients of rehabilitation services, and puts forward countermeasures and suggestions. The current hospital management system is not perfect, unclear positioning of medical social workers in the hospital, and the public about the identity of social work is not high, the service of social workers to provides for patients have the ethical dilemmas. With the medical affair social work in the hospital management system in the embedded in the patient’s health care and social work values, we should improve the relevant laws and regulations in terms of system, medium to include social work in the medical service system, in the aspect of humanistic concern should be adhering to the professional values of social work, strengthen the social worker’s own professional knowledge and moral literacy etc.The paper has six parts.The first part mainly elaborates the background、the problem and the significance of the research.The second part are some important concepts relevant to the research.The third part describes the methodology and the process.The fourth part from the paper expounds the management system of the social work in the hospital to carry out the obstacles existing in the service, and put forward solutions.The fifth part is from the perspectives of humanism, expounds the practice in hospital, provide service for the patient and the values and the ethical dilemmas. The sixth part is from the rigid system and flexible humanities to make recommendations for the problems encountered in the course of providing services for the rehabilitation of patients.
