With worldwide spreading of HIV, HIV-related stigma has popped out, becoming one of the main obstacles of AIDS prevention. HIV-related stigma refers to the negative attitude towards the AIDS patients and the relevant individuals and groups, which reflects in negative stereotypes, emotional reactions and discriminated behaviors. The ADIS patients, who are considered as special social vulnerable groups, not only face the torture of physiological disease, but also suffer from the consequences resulted from HIV-related stigma. Thus there is no time for delay for academic learning to research the present situation and the interventions of HIV-related stigma. This study provides several interference strategies which were combined with various aspects, such as case work, the management of casework, social group work, community outreach and education, social researches and policies. By means of group work, it did some investigations and interventions of HIV-related stigma for30students from Nanjing University by the way of Brief Implicit Association Test (BIAT) and questionnaire to build the baseline. The intervention program integrates components of ’virtual interaction’ with PLWHA, knowledge enhancement, group discussion,a simple cognitive exercise etc. After the intervention program had been carried out, it gave some post--intervention effect evaluation for group work. The result shows that explicit HIV-related stigma exists among college students but it’s not obvious in the gender difference. It is in effect after intervention program of social group work and the affect of stigma could become weaker and weaker. Besides, the approaches of Brief Implicit Association Test (BIAT) and structured questionnaire can give an effective evaluation to the intervention consequences.
