Objective:This paper aims to prove the advantages of Chinese medicine in the treatment of allergic rhinitis in children and discover more effective method as well as more information about Chinese traditional medical therapy in curing such disease by observing the clinical effect of Yi-Xiong Tang with moxibustion in the treatment of allergic rhinitis of children. Methods:This author takes60more than2years old children who get the allergic rhinitis as the research subject and randomly divides them into2group. One group is treated by traditional Chinese medicine Yi-Xiong Tang and moxibustion while the other group is only treated by traditional Chinese medicine Yi-Xiong Tang. Both groups take14days as a course of treatment. The author observes and records the children’s clinical symptoms as well as the variation of signs before and after the therapeutic process, and all data are collected for statistical analysis and treatment results analysis. Results:The research shows that the evident effective rate of the treatment group is63.33%while the total effective rate is93.33%, and for the traditional Chinese group, the evident effective rate is56.66%while the total effective rate is90%. By comparing their own main and minor symptoms before and after, the difference (P>0.5) shows that both groups have a good effect in the treatment of allergic rhinitis. To compare the overall efficacy of the2groups, it comes out that P>0.5which indicates that there is no difference in the overall efficacy of them. Through the analysis of each main and minor symptom, especially the score-recording difference in the treatment of nasal resistance、sleep、 sweat and fear the wind, statistical data is P<0.5which manifests the treatment group has better efficacy than the traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of above symptoms. Conclusion:The pattern of wind-cold fettering lung is a common s ymptom of children’s allergic rhinitis. In the treatment of such disea se, both the treatment group and traditional Chinese medicine can i mprove symptoms in a short period which certifies Yi-Xiong Tang and moxibustion have significant efficacy in curing such disease. Meanwhile, the treatment group has more advantages than the tradit ional Chinese medicine group in improving the symptom of nasal resistance.
