Objective:Observe the different effect of treatments and the quality of life between the acupuncture combined with western medicine and western medicine on the allergic rhinitis,to provide e ffective treatment plan for the clinical treatment of allergic rhinitis.Methods:The 60 patients with allergic rhinitis who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into observation group and control group,with 30 cases in each group.The control group was treated with western medicine,myramethasonc and montrus.Acupuncture combined with western medicine and western medicine were used in the observation group.The usage of western medicine was the same as that of the control group,and acupuncture was performed 3 times a week.After acupuncture,the acupuncture points were applied for 20 minutes' moxibustion at Dazhui,Feishu,Pishu,Shenshu.Two groups of patients treated for 4 weeks in a row.Physicians recorded pre-treatment,post-treatment,and 1-month follow-up,and recorded the patient's symptoms,physical signs,and scores of quality of life of nasal conjunctivitis.Results:One patient in the observation group withdrew from treatment during treatment,and 29 patients in the final observation group and 30 patients in the control group.There was no significant difference in gender,age,course of disease,pre-treatment symptoms and signs,and conjunctivitis quality of life score between the two groups(P>0.05).After treatment and at 1 month follow-up,the scores of symptoms and physical signs,and RQLQ scores of the two groups were all lower than before,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The short-term efficacy:In the observation group,22 cases were markedly effective,5 cases were effective,2 cases were ineffective,and the total effective rate was 93.1%.In the control group,13 cases were markedly effective,13 cases were effective,4 cases were ineffective,and the total effective rate was 86.7%.The short-term efficacy of the observation group was better than that of the control group(P<0.05).The efficacy after one month follow-up;In the observation group,16 cases were markedly effective,9 cases were effective,4 cases were ineffective,and the total effective rate was 86.2%.In the control group,7 cases were markedly effective,16 cases were effective,7 cases were ineffective,and the total effective rate was 76.7%;The efficacy of the observation group was better than that of the control group after one month follow-up(P<0.05).At the scores of quality of life of nasal conjunctivitis.:After treatment,the observation group improved the symptoms of affective responses better than the control group(P<0.05);The follow-up:The efficacy of observation group was better than the control group in improving non-conjunctivitis symptoms and affective responses.(P<0.05).Conclusion:Acupuncture combined with Western medicine is safe and effective in the treatment of allergic rhinitis.This method can significantly improve the symptoms of AR patients,has advantages in improving the quality of life of patients,which is worthy of clinical promotion.
