Modern medicine is developing by leaps and bounds, the medical knowledgeconstantly updated, medical education is faced with various challenges. How tocultivate medical students to adapt to the development of the society, how to strengthenthe medical students’ learning ability, has become a problem of medical colleges anduniversities. In order to adapt to the modern medical education reform, PBL teachingmethod--this new teaching mode takes problem as learning guidance and the student asthe center of teaching, education workers pay attention to and use it more and morewidely. But the application of PBL teaching method at home and abroad is mainly usedin universities and colleges, secondary vocational education applies it relatively less,studying of the PBL teaching method can be of practical use in secondary vocationalschool pathology teaching. Based on the integration of reference literature at home andabroad, drawn on the experience of the university on the basis of experience, combinedwith the characteristics of secondary vocational students and rural medical, PBLteaching method applies to this special professional status in pathology teaching. Toexplore the advantages and disadvantages of the teaching method in the teaching ofsecondary vocational pathology, this paper discusses the teaching method in theteaching of secondary vocational pathology feasibility.In order to ensure the smooth progress in PBL teaching, combining teaching plan,teaching programme and the arrangement of teaching hours, choose two classes of2010rural medical professional as the research object, the experimental class use PBLteaching method by traditional teaching method combined with the teaching mode, andthe teaching of comparative classes all adopt the traditional teaching method. Theexperiment lasted a semester. Finally the students are interviewed and have a test, thetest scores are obtained by SPSS15.0statistical package after analysing the experimental results: when questions appear in medical problems or the form ofdiscussion, the PBL teaching practice of experimental result is obviously higher thanthat in comparative classes without using PBL teaching (P <0.05). Experimental class.The result of using PBL teaching method in the lecture part is obviously higher than thatof the traditional teaching methods teaching part (P <0.05). Through the practice PBLteaching method is proved in the secondary pathology teaching. The appropriate use ofPBL teaching method can improve students’ autonomous learning ability, enhance thestudent to the metacognitive monitoring ability, cultivate students’ interpersonalcommunication ability, strengthen students’ literature search ability, promote theteachers’ comprehensive ability development, help discovery. The PBL teaching methodis suitable for vocational pathology teaching.
